In the June update, 32 new insects were added consisting of 4 legendary insects (epic, pink background), 11 rare (blue background), 14 uncommon (green) and 3 common (white), a total of 78 including crowned insects.
Tips and information :
- Insects will run away if you fail to catch (the net doesn’t fit) or if you get caught approaching them. Insects will fly or perch or go to a nearby place (eg a nearby tree).
- Some insects can sting or bite like Mantis, Honey bee, Mosquito.
- Insects can be sold in place of buying nets at the camping ground.
- If there are no insects then try walking the other way and chances are there will be bugs appearing.
- Rare and legendary insects have better eyesight. If you don’t walk sneaky then he runs away.
- if you are looking for insects in Hometown then pay attention to the buses that will pass by.
- If you are dragged by a bus and a rare insect sees your movement then it might run away.
Caucasus Beetle – Plaza
The caucasus beetle can be caught on a tree in the plaza at night. I found it in front of the mall and on the beach in front of the beach cafe. My friend found it in the tree behind the entrance to hometown.I also saw someone catch him in the tree in front of the basketball court near the rabbit NPC. the color is dark but the body is large and clearly visible
Hercules Beetle – Downtown
Hercules beetle perches on a tree trunk in downtown at night. I often see it in the tree beside the baseball field (near the uphill road and no parking sign).large size and clearly visible
Golden Stag Beetle – camping ground
The golden stag beetle is on the camping ground at night. I often see the trees around the camp building (in front of this building there is a fireman and dr farbe).
Queen Alexandra Birdwing -Hometown
You can find these green and black butterflies in hometown from morning to evening. I often see she flying on the road in front of the river and on the road in front of the clinic. Queen Alexandra will run away when it’s past 12 noon.

Centipede Camp – Camp /Plaza
Centipedes can be found walking on the ground (brown and green). I’ve seen it on the camping ground and also in the plaza (land in front of the haunted house).
Rosy Maple Moth – Hometown Street light Night
This yellow and pink butterfly can be found around street lights at night. I caught her in his hometown.
Morpho Butterfly – Hometown
This blue butterfly can be found flying in hometown. (street or in front of the clinic, police)
Dorcus Titanus – Camp
Black beetles can be found on tree trunks at the camp at night.
Preying Mantis – Hometown
mantis walks in hometown . can walk in the middle of the road or beside the road (the road in front of the river, clinic to the road in front of the gas station)
Jumbo Dragonfly – Hometown
I found Jumbo dragonfly in hometown ,flying on the same road as the mantis
Emperor Dragonfly – Hometown.

Odontolabis – Camp
black and white beetle found on a tree in the camp at night.
Metalic Stag Beetle – Downtown
I found a Metallic Stag Bettle in the same spot as the hercules beetle. it’s brown so you have to be observant.
Cyclommatus Elaphus – Downtown
the green beetle found in downtown. I found it in the same spot as Hercules Beetle.
