If you use wooden rod
Repair cost : 100
Durability : 15 (You can catch 15 fish)
Income : 15*20 = 300
Net income (after use for repair) : 300 – 100 = 200
You get 200 stars per rod
This is income if you catch 15 common fish such as cherry salmon, carp, rockfish, salmon and mackerel.
If you get uncommon fish like catfish and bass you will earn more money.
If using pro rod
For best results it is recommended to catch in the waterfall or pond (plaza) and not catch small shadow fish.
Repair cost : 1500
Durability : 80 (You can catch 80 fish)
Income (if you catch 30 uncommon fish and 50 common fish) :
30*80 =2400
50*20= 1000
2400+1000=3400. You can get more because uncommon fish costs around 80-130 stars.
Net income (after using for repair) : 3400-1500 = 1900
Conclusion
Based on my experience: using pro rod or blue rod can earn you a lot of money if you are lucky. If you are not lucky then you will only get common fish.
Pro rod also has a higher success rate. But it’s not uncommon if the fishing line breaks when catching big fish.
If you want to catch big fish use pro rod.
If you want to make money use a wooden rod (catch all shadow) or a pro rod (don’t catch the little shadow).
